Why does it highly recommend one instead of 1 1/2 or 2 when choosing your diet plan? Just a random question, so I can decide what is best for me.
Thanks!

Because you shouldn't be trying to lose more than 1% of your bodyweight per week.0

Safe and realistic goal!0

So for the last month I have had it on the "lose 2 pounds" and lost ten. Is that really unhealthy? I changed it to lose 1 pounds a week now, but I don't think I'll be able to eat about 2000 every day when I have been eating 1200 a day without feeling like I am over eating.0

If your weight isn't very high to begin with there's no reason to have it set at 2/week.0

Because changing it to 1 1/2 -2 changes your calorie allowance quite drastically and some ppl find it hard to comply with the fewer calories and give up more quickly..
However 1-2 pounds a week is a healthy range to lose weight and keep it off.0
