Is this just normal water retention?

Hey everyone, I have just started exercising (again!) and have been doing about an hour of the elliptical or treadmill a day (it's only been four days, so only the beginning.) But, I look much heavier today than I did last week. My stomach looks like it's bulging even more so and my legs look and just feel, heavy! I'm sore too, good feeling though :)

Am I just experiencing normal water retentition, that should go away in 2 weeks or so once my body has adjusted? Any tips on how to get this bloating to go away quicklier?

    And I have heard from lifters that you need to increase your water a lot when you start.
