Is this accurate???

Question: Ive tried to be as accurate as possible when weighing foods, just because what one person's idea of a small grapefruit is different from another's. Ive started using those listed by grams rather than just size, etc. My question is: are the numbers applying to the fruit before or after it is peeled? Once you peel the part that is not edible, is that what you should weigh? Same goes for bananas. Some foods have a drastic difference in weight after they are peeled. Anybody know?

I only weigh what is going into my body. No cores, skins, seeds, pits, etc....just the food.

I would think unless it is an edible skin, like an apple, there would be no reason to include the skin or peel in the calorie count. If it is edible, then I am confident that it is included,
