Is it detrimental to my weight loss if I go over my protein pretty much every day?

Protein expends more energy to digest than fat or carbs, ie the thermal effect of food
Protein does have the same effect on the appetite as carbs

this is all assuming that you up your protein ratios, not your calories ingested. Eating protein above your calorie goal would obviously hurt weight loss0
