Hey everyone,
I just joined here yesterday, my names Deborah and im 32 from Scotland. Ive been reading a lot of the boards and they are really inspirational!. I have over 10st (150lbs) to lose and have a holiday booked for July to Florida which is my motivation.
I want to be a size 16 by then (currently a 22) so i have joined a gym and am being extremely good with regards my diet although i am tempted every waking moment for something bad!!.
Hoping to meet people in the same boat as me so we can do this together and motivate each other. D x

Hi Deborah
What a lovely motivation you have waiting for you in July!! I am originally from the UK, but living in the Netherlands now. How is it going at the gym? I have just ordered some bodylastics bands, so that I can get in some resistant training in at home... well that is the plan!
I also have a gym membership have had for a while, but they wouldn't know me if I walked in as it has been a while since I went to say the least :blushing: Hoping to alternate exercise between dance games on the Xbox and fitness DVD's etc trying to keep it fun
One step at a time, that is going to be my plan!

Hi Deborah!
Welcome to MFP
I have found great success and great advice using this site. Try to keep it as simple as you can, focus on eating healthy and exercising your body. Find things that you love to do and challenge yourself, the results will be worth it.
Also - eat your exercise calories! The program is designed for you to eat them (haha - welcome to the world of conflicting MFP views).
Wishing you great success!0 -
