'm 5'10 454 pounds and can't seem to find my calories in and out numbers. everything I read and everything I see online is all over the place.
It seems like when I work out I tend to not lose as much (1-2lbs) as when I just watch what I'm eating and not do any physical activity (usually about a 4-6lbs loss) That's not what i want to do though. My wife tells me to just wait till I get more weight off to work out and sometimes I believe her but a lot of times I just don't want to be that person that just sits around I've been that way pretty much my whole life. Recently I've been in the gym 4-5 days a week.
I'm trying to find that cal in cal out or at least understand how I can get there while still getting in the gym and working out.
I know I should be happy with 1-2 pounds but when your as big as I am it just seems like such a small number.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Do you know your TDEE and BMR?
When working out, the body will retain extra water to do bodily repairs, this masks fat loss many times.0 -
That's what I'm talking about I have been on a bunch of websites and seen so many different numbers. I know i'm smarter than this to not be able to figure it out or learn how to adjust.0
