I am 22yr old Diabetic, in college and still living at home. I just had a medical issue that in non-diabetics usually don't experience but in my body, ran rapid. I wasn't watching my glucose levels. Well I want to change that and I have been really good about it for the last week or so. I want to continue but I can't get my family on board with wanting to be healthier.
Family Members in household:
Mom - Age: 41; Diabetic (Diagnosed at 9) - Learned to chase her sugars instead of planning ahead, Works hard hours as a Lead Dispatcher for a police dept.
Sister 1 - Age: 12; Slightly overweight
Sister 2 - Age: 6; Highly picky about foods
Any ideas?
