I am loving MFP. Are you?

I have always hated logging food, trying to figure out calories, portions, using the user unfriendly WW software but I have to say that I am totally loving MFP! It's so easy to log food and exercise, I love the scanning feature on my phone and the communities here. This is the longest I have ever stuck to logging food and exercise (16 whole days, lol) but because it's not a burden and I don't have to do any math to make it work, it's been fun! I think I am becoming addicted to finding foods that will fit into my 1600 a day calorie plan and creating recipes that fill me up while still tasting good. I'm not subsiding on yogart, cottage cheese, and fruit, like I always felt like I had to do on WW. My favorite feature is the recipe creator where you put in all the ingredients and they tell you how many calories are in a serving. If it's too high, you can try to find other ingredients to substitute, or change the serving size.

I really think this is a lifestyle change (not a diet!) that I can embrace. I'm so excited and I hope you all are too! Keep up the good work!

If a website could earn the Nobel Peace Prize I'd nominate this one. No joke.

Joining MFP is the best move I've made this year. I wish I had found this site years ago.

I could have written your post. I used to hate logging calories. And i tried WW, and I HATED that too. I got so overwhelmed trying to figure out the points for everything. I don't know, this seems so much better and easier. I actually like logging my food. It's almost like a fun strategy game. I love MFP.

I love it. I've been overweight for years. I've gotten disgusted with myself every time my pants size changed. I've tried to lose weight but never lasted at anything. I wasn't even thinking about losing weight or contemplating trying. I stumbled on to MFP in the App store on my Ipod. Downloaded it, tried it, and got hooked. I've lost 16 lbs. so far, I'm under 200 for the first time in, I don't know how long, and I have no desire to stop now.
