So stressed!

Hi!
A few days ago I weighed in at 120 lbs. and in the last few days I have overeaten so much. My goal is to eat 1500 calories plus exercise but I have been eating SOOO much over. I stepped on the scale this morning, at my normal time (I have been pooping daily, working out, drinking water, etc.) and weighed in at 125 lbs. Could I really have gained 5 lbs in three days?
How will I get rid of it? I am not on my period or anything like that, and I am seriously so discouraged! I just cant seem to stick with any type of diet.

depends on what you ate. If it was high sodium stuff, you would also be retaining a lot of water.0

You didn't gain five pounds in three days so I recommend just breathing. You are fine. Water weight can fluctuate a lot. Weigh yourself only once a week for a couple weeks and see if there is an upward trend. Until then just be calm, stick to your plan and breath :flowerforyou:0

It's probably at least partly water. Without knowing how many calories it's hard to say, but keep in mind that to gain 5 lbs of fat you would have had to have eaten 17500 calories OVER your TDEE. That would be quite a feat. Get back on track, drink lots of water, and weigh again in a week.
Edited for terrible grammar, but it didn't help much. :P0 -
It's probably water weight.
Drink lots of water, eat healthy, and get out and move your body.
Five pounds isn't the end of the world and you can get back on track. Focus on being healthy. You can do it0
