I think it's ridiculous, personally. Also we're a military family and I promise you this is not used by any of the military guys I know. They do some weird things to make tape, but this isn't one of them.

Just eat at a reasonable deficit.

One of several previous threads discussing this unhealthy fad diet:

I just know a friend of mine did it and lost 10 pounds. I've now been on a 100 day plateau so I am doing just the 3 days ( they say to do the diet for 3 days the off 4, can do 4 times in a month) hoping it will jump start my weight loss again.

Stick with a healthy diet, eat at a reasonable deficit to your TDEE, and get some exercise. Stay with that long term.

I started back in March last year did well until this plateau. Lost 32 pounds. I workout, get the cardio. I've done it all, switching out what I do as to not get into a routine . Not giving up cause this is not where I want to be. I just don't understand the 3+ month plateau. On the bright side, I'm not gaining it back!

Instead of trying this ridiculous and unhealthy diet, why not post a thread asking for help with your plateau?

I had a 3 month plateau once so I get that it is frustrating. But this is not going to help you.

If you would like practical help, open your diary and we will give you advice.

I'm curious who comes up with these diet names...

If you are plateau'ing, do something like take a week and eat at maintenance.

If you have not already figured your TDEE -20% try that... eating less is not the answer. I have had many plateaus while eating 1200 cals!. I gave up and stopped logging and working out....bad idea. Gained 18 pounds. Back on plan, eating more and seeing a small loss.
