raw vegies dips as snacks

I am in need of a few ideas of what vegies taste nice raw and are good for a snack. Currently I take red capsicum and carrot sliced to work and have it with crackers and dip as a snack meal. I need ideas of what else I could take. I know I don't like celary, but am willing to try other things. The dip I like is Hommus, in a small tub it's about 90 calories. Any suggestions of dips that add value to my diet would be great. I am currently having trouble reaching my calories so don't mind if it's not super light.

And as a dip: Plain Joghurt with herbs or spice it up with chayenne pepper

Try the usual carrot sticks, peppers, cucumber. Also don't forget celery - you burn more energy digesting it than you actually get from it because it is so fibrous.

I like roasted aubergines, butternut squash, peppers, onions, courgettes. Do them with some garlic and no oil on a baking tray for 1 hour. You do a whole tray or two and then keep them in the fridge.

They naturally go very sweet and sticky and taste like they they have been coated in honey and oil.

    Dip them in hummus.
  • Or you can dip your raw veggies in Cottage cheese with chives and toasted onion. They taste good together and you are increasing yoru protein.

thanks very much for the ideas. I haven't ever tried cottage cheese, so will have to give it a go :) I really like greek yogurt , I might try the plain natural aswell. i am going shopping tomorrow and will use these ideas and see what's available.
I love red capsicum/peppers. I work 2 pm to 10pm in a factory and I find I have more energy when i've had some.
Thank you all for your suggestions

Yellow/ orange/ green/ red bell pepper, chestnut mushrooms, asparagus tips, red onion strips, tenderstem broccoli, cauliflower florets, mange tout, sugarsnap peas, radishes, baby corn, green beans.

For dips tomato salsa, guacamole, low fat soft cheese, yoghurt and chive.
  • Carrots and sweet bell peppers are my favorites. I also really like asparagus raw. It has a sweet taste to it

I love raw green beans. I don't like the seeds in cucumbers, so I buy the "European" ones, or baby cukes.
