You can do it! I have recently stopped losing weight too. Everyone says that I just need to change up my workouts. Like go a little bit longer, lift a little more weight and sweat a little more. Well, maybe that logic will help you too! Good Luck!0

Hi Lena, welcome aboard! It sounds like you are in the right direction and joining MFP will bring you closer to your goals. Often after the first intial loss our bodies hit a plateau, which is likely where you are at right now. Do not get discouraged, you will break through to the other side, it just might not happen as quickly as the first 23 lbs. There is some great info in the forum on plateaus, I can't remember the different articles but if you do some searching in the nutrition section you should find them.
Congratulations to you on your recent loss of 23 lbs - that is so amazing!!! You will keep loosing too if you keep up this great effort, don't stop now!! : )0 -
Welcome, you came to the right place. This place is great. I love the way you can track your calories. When you start dieting it is easy to cut your calories too much and then you lose all of your energy. I love getting to the end of the day and realizing that I still have calories to eat, then I can have a little snack. I feel great since I started with MFP, and even though I have had some bad days, it's easy to get back on track.0

Congrats on your weight loss - that is wonderful. How many calories are you eating? You might not be eating enough with all the working out you are doing. That could be why you are exhausted and why you aren't loosing any weight. Your body might be in a somewhat stage of "stavation mode" and holding on to what you are putting in. If you workout 6 days a week and burn like 500 calories a day you probably don't want to eat less than 1500/1600 calories.
Also do you take a multi-vitamin? If you have a deficiency in like iron or Vitamin D that could also be why you are so exhausted. Good luck to you - I wish you the very best!!!0 -
Thank you all for the wonderful advice. It really helped me to get motivated again. it really makes me feel good to know that im not alone and there is such wonderful people out there that have been through what im going through. Seeing my calories today for the first time i think i might not be eating enough. I think I was only eating 1000 cals a day. It’s really weird to think that you have to eat more food to lose weight. I guess I can eat a snack in between breakfast and lunch to add more calories. I think i might also try a multivitamin to see if that will help me get back some more energy. Thank you guys! i can't wait to continue on my journey and with a new support group I might really be able to reach my goal this time. God bless.0

Welcome! I love your screen name! This site is awesome! I would suggest checking out the message boards. There are threads there that have little thumb tacks or sticky notes next to them that you should read first. Here's a link to one that I think links to all the others! http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/23912-links-in-mfp-you-want-to-read-again-and-again
Great info here, have fun! :flowerforyou: :glasses:0 -
Welcome! Congratulations on deciding to improve your health and on your determination that has brought you this far :flowerforyou:
If you search the threads, you'll find lots of ideas how to get over plateaus as that happens to pretty much everybody at some point. For me, it worked to shift to more protein/fewer carbs and the next time I plateaued I changed up my exercise routine - both times the scale started moving again. :drinker:0
