i am eating 1200 a day (or at least i should be) sometimes its more sometimes its less..
if i eat 1200 and excersise 0, i lose? correct??
if i eat 1200 and burn 5-800 at the gym i gain cals to 1700 to 2000 but eat little or none of them back, so am i puting my body into 'stavation mode'??
if i eat the 1700-2000 cals i have earned at the gym do i gain or lose weight??
and finally if i eat 1000 and burn 1000, am i esentially eating zero?
this might sound like im completely thick but i just dont get why people moan at me, i will have breakfast, do a 5-800 workout then eat the rest of my diary over the course of the day.... so its not eating zero is it??
i consider my diet to be pretty decent for the size of girl i am (9 stone), some people dont think i eat enough, but believe me i am full by the end of the day.. i certainly dont think im under eating

If you're using MFP then you should eat back your exercise calories because it builds in your loss (for example, choosing "lose 1 pound per week" will put you at about a 500 calories per day deficit).
Worry less about starvation mode and more about losing lean muscle mass if you try to cut faster.
