I'm interested in trying to make overnight oatmeal and I didn't find steel cut oats but I did find regular (not quick) oatmeal. Does anyone know if that will work? What do you put in your oatmeal? Thanks!

What's the point with regular rolled oats? They don't take long to make0

If you're using rolled oats, just put them in the microwave for a minute or two (depending on how much texture you like in your oatmeal) and hey presto! Breakfast. No need to dirty o crockpot.0

I cut up 2 apples, 1 tbsp vanilla, 1/4c brown sugar splenda, 1 c steel cut oats, 2.5 c water, pumpkin pie spice (a few shakes) .....soooo good, I eat it cold as dessert and/or breakfast if I have the carbs. Add walnuts just before serving- they turn to mush if u cook in crock. Steel cut are more filling bc there's a lot more chewing goin on0
