What are you opinions of Vitamin Water Zero?

So a little while back I gave up diet soda (with the exception of a treat ONCE in a while), and I've been drinking mainly water and tea sweetened with truvia. Recently, I tried a couple bottles of VWZ and I really liked it! I looked at the ingredients and there is no aspartame in it and it is sweetened with either truvia or crystalline fructose (I've seen both, although I don't know a whole lot about the fructose). Most of the other ingredients include natural flavors and a crapload of vitamins. My question is whether or not this drink is as deceptive and unhealthy as diet soda? I understand that it does not compare to pure water but would it hurt to drink it a few times a week?

Thanks in advance! :)

"Ask me again if I recommend vitamin water when you are on a weight loss program? Definitely not, because the water tastes extremely sweet. If you taste sweet, then you want more sweet. When you are on a weight loss program, it is too easy to fall off the wagon and indulge in more sweets: chocolate, cake, ice cream, and others you can probably think of.

Water is the best hydration system on the planet. Period. But the decision is yours."

I doubt a few vitamin waters here and there will prevent weight loss, but this article will at least give you a better idea of what's in it and maybe help you decide if you want to drink it.

Personally I drink it often because I like the taste of it, and it doesn't make me crave anything sweet or want to eat *more* food than I regularly would. It's definitely better than drinking a full calorie pepsi and MFP showed me one of my biggest problems is consuming way too many liquid calories (I tend to drink lots of juice). I'm not fooled into thinking that the vitamins are all too beneficial, (I've always heard vitamins in pill form are the ideal) but I don't mind that so much.
