Broken Leg--Any Workout Advice Appreciated

I broke both bones just above the ankle in my right leg 4 months ago. I have been doing upper body workouts using dumbbells and resistance bands and some leg lifts and quad presses from a sitting position that the physical therapist recommended. I am on crutches so running, bicycling and swimming are outside my current capabilities and walking is limited. I was wondering if anyone else has had this injury with its limitations and what exercises they found most beneficial?

Wow, that sounds like a challenge. I haven't had a broken leg (thankfully), so I don't have any advice. You might want to post this in the Exercise forum. This section seems mostly to be people new to the site so you may get more response there. Good luck with your recovery! If you are looking for friends also, feel free to add me.0

Thank you, I will post my question in the exercise forum. I will add you as a friend. I started using this site back in 2011 to just track diet and lost interest for a while. Now I am trying it again with the hope that I can stick with it this time and finally lose the 90 lbs that I have gained over the last 12 years! Just found the message boards last night.0
