Is not having a tattoo as rebellious as having one now?

Not rebellious. But I hear a lot of zero tatt snobbery. Congrats. You have no ink. You must be superior.
There is some small amount of that, but it doesn't come anywhere remotely close to the "tats are so awesome!" crowd.
I don't see the point of either, honestly. It's a picture on skin. It takes no effort to have one, or not have one, just a few bucks. Brag about an accomplishment worth doing.
I honestly don't know anyone who criticizes people for not having any tattoos, but plenty the other way around. Which I've always found weird.
At the end of the day it's a personal decision, whichever way you go, and having an attitude about it either way makes no sense to me. Be boring if we were all the same.0 -
It's something like 6% of all Americans have a tattoo while in my generation as many as 12%...seeing as how that's a minority with any amount of ink, I'm gunna go ahead and say no. That leaves over 80% ink free, how is that rebellious?0
