Just putting the feelers out there for ideas. What events does everyone plan on running this Spring/Summer/Fall? So far I've set myself up for Merrell Mud Run NY & PA, FoamFest, Tough Mudder, and possibly the color run.

I'm signed up for the Rock and Roll New Orleans full in February and then Grandmothers full in Duluth in June.0

I'm pretty positive I would die if I ran a half, never mind a full. I think that will be my goal for next year though. I mean tough mudder is almost a half, but its not non-stop running.0

Feb 10 - Get Up and Train Half
March 24 - Navy Freedom Half
April 20 - Tough Mudder
May 18 - Spartan Sprint0 -
Gonna run a 25K in May (never ran that far) Tough Mudder in late June (first) probably a warror dash for fun, perhaps a few other half marathons and some 5 and 10ks. A full season!!0

I'd like to run at least 3 5k's this and try a 10K towards the end of the year.0

I'm doing the mini-marathon again for the start of the Kentucky Derby Festival, & The Color Run!!!! It's soooo FUN!0

I only have two events in mind so far, I am in the UK and want to do the Bristol Sprint Trialthlon in the summer (June) and the Sodbury Slog (9 mile muddy, country run towards the end of the year)0

Princess 1/2 in February and I think I am going to do the Gate River Run (15K) in March. No plans beyond that for now. Usually just 5K's in the summer because it is so freakin hot here.0

I just ran my first 5K on Saturday. I'm looking to do a couple more 5K's in March as I train to run longer. I would love to do the Peachtree race in Atlanta this summer. Then I hope to be up to a half marathon by the end of the year. There are a few state park trail runs I want to do later in the year (10/15K range). Just found out my company will reimburse the cost of these races up to $500 annually which motivates me even more!0

March - Syracuse Half Marathon
April - Seneca 7
May - Fly By Night
June - Tough Mudder and Ragnar
July - Musselman half ironman or SkyHigh Xterra
August - not sure yet... still trying to find a good event
September - Skinnyman tri
October - Great Lakes 1000 -
For me, it all depends on what the organizers wind up doing with "guaranteed" entries to the 2013 NYC marathon.
(they're going to reassess their numbers after the 2012 would-be-participants choose whether or not to run this time around)
if I'm IN... then I'll run a Spring half (May), Summer 30k & then the NYC full.
But if not: I'll stick with a Spring half (May), Summer 10 miler & likely focus on triathlon instead.0 -
This is what I'm already registered for, I'm sure I'll end up running some additional shorter runs during the year (5k's, 10k's) and maybe another fall half marathon or two.
January - one 5k
February - one 4 mile race
March - one 5k (possibly a 44 mile relay too)
April - two half marathons, one 4 mile race
May - one half marathon, one 5k
June - one half marathon
October - my first full marathon in Chicago (will be registering on first day of registration 2/19)0 -
Feb 23rd: Wounded Warrior 5k
March 16th: Color Run
May 6th - Local 5K to support Hospice
October....first 5K trail race
Would like to do a mud run sometime in the fall....and I hope to progress to 10K this year as well. I'd also like to register for 1-2 more races as my goal was to do 5 this year.0
