Percentages to Build Muscle

What do I change my percentages to on MFP if I want to start building muscle?

    Whatever comes out to at least 1g protein per pound of your lean body mass and .45g fat per same.

    I'm just barely going to start weight training today which is why I was asking.

    Just checking as that is the other part of the equation re muscle retention.

    If you want to actually gain muscle, beyond the few pounds of 'newbie' gains, you will also have to eat at a surplus.

    ETA: And what FullOfWin said re protein.
