Sauerkraut: Condiment or Veggie Serving?

So I purchased a can of Sauerkraut to put on some smoked sausages. I only used two tablespoons (recommended serving) for the sausage. I am aware the only ingredients are salt, water, and cabbage. But do you consider it a single serving of vegetables or just a condiment?

I don't think it really matters because at the end of the day, a calorie is a calorie to me. But, I consider it a 'veggie' because I always put mustard on my brats and sauerkraut.0

I love sauerkraut on a hot dog or sausage! I guess it depends on how much you use. I use enough to count it as a veg.0

If you're trying to get a certain number of veggie servings a day, I don't think 2 tablespoons is enough to count it as a serving. I would still log it though. Do you not log condiments?0
