Food Dehydrators

I made banana chips today in the oven. They seemed to come out okay.
Saving them for later tonight as a snack. Will have to invest in a decent food dehydrator.
I love chips but avoiding them alternatively will make banana and apple chips and maybe even potato chips.
Appreciate any thoughts on different food dehydrators you all use. Thanks in advance.

We have a Nesco American Harvest Snackmaster one that we got years ago and it still works. We just made some apple chips, banana chips, and raisens. They are so much better for you than what you find in the stores. It takes 12 hours sometimes for them in our dehydrator, but well worth the wait. We find ourselves eating more fruits when we do this.0

Thanks for your input. That is the dehydrator (brand) I am considering purchasing.0

When you finally decide on one, try strawberries. I slice them fairly thin and give them about 10-12 hours. But they come out just like candy...Amazing. Have fun!0
