X-Factor: ST by Weider Initial Opinion

Hello fellow fitnesspal people. I thought I would give a quick review and opinion of X-Factor: ST by Weider. First some background. I have been through Insanity 2 full times plus several hybrid versions of it. I have been through P90X once and then some. I needed some change and decided to pick up X-Factor for $30 at Wally World.
I have only done Week 1 of this workout so far. My initial thoughts are it is better than the 2 previous Beachbody products I have completed. It compares more to Insanity than P90x. It incorporates circuits like Insanity does and just uses your body weight. It does an outstanding job of getting your heart rate up and really mixes up the exercises good. There is a good mix of cardio, plyo, and abs all in one workout. And the best part is it is only a little over 30 minutes. I like the X-Factor warm up much better and I like the way the circuits are set up.
First exercise is 30 secs, then 45, then 90, then a different set for 30-45-90. Water Break. 2 more different sets in the same format then water break. Then repeat entire workout. Done.
I burned 589 calories in 38 minutes. My heart rate was in the low 160's the majority of the time and that is very unusual for me. Insanity keeps me in the 140-low 150's range.
Hope somebody finds this info useful.

I'm glad you like it. I have this program too and most of it last year (I made it to week 6 or 7). I like that the bodyweight circuits become pregressively more difficult each week. The bonus total body workout looks pretty hard, so I suppose you could use it as a 9 week program. I noted the exercises in a notebook on Monday then would strive to get more reps with good form in the allowed time on Wednesay and Friday to keep it challenging. I haven't done any insanity workouts, so do not know how they compare. I found my heart rate stayed pretty high (for me) during these workouts too, especially the middle to later weeks.0
