Success strength training with only dumbbells?

I was going to start NROLFW (New Rules of Lifting for Women), but my gym (Planet Fitness) doesn't have most of the equipment I'd need. I still want to try strength training though, and my gym has lots of dumbbells at different weights. Could I just use dumbbells for strength training and skip all the fancy equipment?

yep you can do compound lifts with dumbbells and modify any exercise; you might just have to make adjustments to form.
for instance for deadlifts, you'd want the dumbbells on the outside middle part of foot to simulate the position of the barbell.0 -
With some creativity you should be able to . I would check out http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/workout/exercise.html It is a great database of weight with videos and written instruction. There are some days I live on this website learning about new lifts and even more importantly how to do them correctly.0

For awhile yes. Eventually when you are stronger, they may not suffice.0

i mainly use dumbells for my workouts. i rarely use the olympic bar to do my lifts except for squats and the occasional bench press.0
