    I know a lot of people who have a professional career and still have piercing or tattoos (I have a piercing myself). Doesn't seem as big of a deal these days unless you have something pretty extreme.

    Some companies are more forgiving and more professionals are getting them. My buddy, our ex-Controller got tatted (all over his chest). The shareholders did not think very highly of his actions.....I would keep the tats covered in the boardroom.

    The professional dress code is very different in Hawaii. Men do not wear suits, instead, Aloha shirts. It is very warm and humid most of the time, so wearing long sleeve under shirts are uncomfortable. We do a lot of charity events, commercials, public announcements in Aloha wear. Very difficult to hide and/or conceal....
