New Member needs tips

I'm a mother of 3 turning 42 this week. The best present I can give myself is to lose weight for better health and self esteem. Since my son was born in 1992 my weight has increased from 125 lbs to 190 this past December. I would love to be 130 especially because I'm 5'0" and it shows more :laugh: I have been working out for the past week and can't believe I lost 6 lbs. Wow that's a first in 21 years!!!!! I hope my goal is realistic and that by summer I won't be embarrassed to wear shorts and tank tops especially because it gets hot here in Texas!

Would love to hear some success stories on mommies who are close to my age and have lost around 60 lbs. What are some things I can do to ensure weight loss. This app has been helping me a lot. Thank you MFP!!!
