After 3 days of being on this site, an observation..

I really enjoy the people I've met, the different ideas and getting to know others and starting a support circle. However one thing really stands out to me...I recently left Facebook and migrated to Twitter before I started messing around with this site...WAY more cleavage shots here. On behalf of most of the guys here, I thank you :)
But then I started to think about it...breasts are the hallmark of femininity, and this website is all about health, vitality and looking your best. I have no room to talk because I'm flashing my arms which I know many girls like a man with strong arms, like many guys like a woman with nice breasts. I think it's a good thing that a lot of people on here feel comfortable with their hard work to show off what they have and be supportive of others. I've seen women of all shapes and sizes showing confidence in their looks and that comes from surrounding themselves with great people. I really like it here.

...I'll also never look at boobs the same way.

The funny part is is that dudes have breast tissue too so great pec shots totes count as hot cleavage.

less is more in my opinion, and I try to abide by that... but I definitely agree!
  • I think it's because there's a lot of body showing in order to show off results on this site (or any health site for that matter), and girls who generally, in my opinion, have low self-esteem find it a good excuse to show off more cleavage than they would for Facebook or Twitter in which cases they would be labeled with more derogatory terms. Honestly, I find it really degrading to women when the post shots like that and I am a firm believer that one's "femininity" should be kept for one lucky person. If a man is going to give you attention because of your breast size, should you really want the attention of that man? Honestly, girls who do take pictures like that and post them over the web don't really realize how much they are worth and what true beauty means and is.

I for one tend to wear low-cut shirts because I hate any clothing on my neck. I do however like to show off my assets occasionally. I don't show everything unless it is to the one person I want to see. I think it is the person that is wearing the clothes that it matters to and if someone doesn't like it don't look.

D*mn...."femininity" should only be kept for one lucky person?? I must be a big *kitten*! lol

On another note, I am a 42H, so unless I wear a trash bag or a turtle neck every day, I'm pretty much always going to have some cleavage. And some days I show them off more than others. Have you never chosen an outfit because it looked good on you? Because it made your body look good? It complimented your good features and hid your problem areas? Have you ever considered the fact that there are women that actually want to look sexy for THEMSELVES? Not everything is about men honey. :drinker:

by admitting it, you are being accountable..tsk tsk.
  • My breasts get commented on often, but more often from other girls vs guys. With my profile picture, I'm not trying to draw attention to my breasts...but I can't exactly hide them either. My reason for my profile picture is that the dress I'm wearing is my "goal" dress. My goal is to look amazing in it. Having it as my profile pic means its the first thing I see when I log on and I keep it there as motivation for myself. It reminds me of how far I have come, and how much I still have to go.

...which proves that bad parking, not lack of accountability, is the hallmark of femininity! I win!

No one wants to "look sexy for themselves" That simply doesn't work. And that's my exact point, not everything is about men.

Yep! Agreed. Anyone else liking how I look is a bonus. Liking how you look gives you confidence. Confidence is sexy as hell. Just sayin'
