net calories

so i was looking at the reports on MFP and did the net calorie report. just a little confused - i thought i would see all the graph bars going into the negative when i have a deficit each day, but they went up into the positive area.

so a positive net calories is a good thing???

is there any nice way to find out a weeks worth of number of calories burned vs ate - the the actual number values?? i am just curious what my actual deficit was for the week without going through each day individually.

*** sorry if this is a stupid question - its like 4 am and i am too tired to critically think ***
