Recommend food for Weight GAIN!

I know a lot of people use this app for weight loss but I am an ectomorph who is trying to gain weight. So far I have put on 1.4kg since using the app (in a week) which im pleased with. I snack all the time taking into consideration what type of foods im eating. Im on a weight gain shake and gym (no cardio), 3 to 4 times a week.
What sort of foods do people snack on to boost calorie count? Any other weight gain tips as I'm 6'1, 20yo, 67kg.

Hey, I feel your pain about weight gain, we're definitely the minority by trying to gain! I just started using the app to gain back some weight I lost while I was sick and unable to go to the gym. But I'm also an ectomorph and normally eat more than most people on any given day to maintain my weight.
When you're talking about snacks it's better to think of them as meals if you really want to put on weight. So instead of say snacking on a bunch of almonds and fruit, have a small meal like a of couple chicken wraps or a bowl of pasta salad. Quinoa salads, tuna wraps, couple cups of greek yogurt with some nuts(even a scoop of your powder), big bowls of cereal (not sugar laced crap). If you have time, scramble up some eggs at night. Peanut butter is good, just on toast or put some in a tortilla and wrap it around a banana, easy on the go.
Those are just a few ideas, but bottom line is, whatever you're eating, eat more!0 -

Simple, HFCS, wheat and dairy, they will make you put on weight super quick0 -

Oily fish, nuts, seeds, dried fruit, cocoa powder, avocados, olives, block creamed coconut, hard cheese, homemade flapjacks. Many slim guys need to bump up the frequency of their meals to get the calories in, eating up to six times a day.0
