Ok, I'm on holiday - this is day 4 of 10 days away. I have no workout stuff with me, and tbh, no time to workout. We are taking the kids to all the theme parks etc on the Gold Coast here in Australia.

I'm starting to freak out about how hard it is going to be to get back into my workouts.... after 4 years of working out 5-6 days per week, this is all new to me. I'm not worried about being motivated to get back to it, rather how hard I'm going to find it?

It's not like I'm sat on my butt all day - trekking round the parks in the 30+ degree heat takes some doing, lol. But it sure ain't nothing compared to what I'm used to!

Has anyone else had such a break? How did it affect your fitness? Thanks

First session back might be a bit harder than usual, after that you will be fine.

    Enjoy your holiday.

I started running in August / September and was running 4-6 times a week up to 5k each times near the end. In December I broke my toe, and couldn't run from the 14th December until 29th. I was REALLY worried. However, my first run was harder, but the second I was back to nrmal. Don't stress, enjoy the break x
