Crock Pot Steel Cut Oats

Hey All

Anyone have any recipe for steel cut oats perferably crock pot ones? I just made a steel cut apple cinnamon oatmeal and it sucks... maybe someone has a better recipe. I can eat it but it is just not a pleasure to eat. On the plus side I am full. Going to see how long this lasts.....LOL

i made beef barley soup but substituted steel cut oats for the barley. I have Celiac disease and can't eat barley. It was a good substitute and I will certainly do it again.

I don't care for it myself - the oats come out really really creamy and I prefer them more nutty so I do stove-top by preference.
