In January 2010, I weighed 340 pounds and lost 96 pound by December 2010 with exercise (cardio), diet and My Fitness Pal:happy: ! Then pain in my hips became unbearable and I could not exercise until I had surgery, which was delayed almost a year because of insurance issues so over the past 18 months I've had my weight issues. While I was down from the surgeries and the waiting period before I had a "pity party" was a little depressed. :embarassed: I had lost all that weight and now I could feel it coming back because I could not exercise and I was not eating right. I had total left hip replacement 7/9/12 & total rip hip replacement 11/19/12.

So I went to the doctor for my annual physical 1/10/13 and he told me I weighed 370; I had gained all the weight back plus 30 pounds! :noway: I told the doc I was going to lose at least 30 pounds before my next checkup in 3 months. I weighed in last week without doing any cardio (because I have surgical restrictions until 2/19/13) so I am only allowed physical therapy; I now weigh 349 pounds (disclaimer: albeit different scales). :blushing: Still that's @ 20 pounds in a week. All this to say, by making smarter food choices and being accountable with MFP I am happily back on the right track!

I personally have committed to losing 150 total pounds by 1/1/15. After I lose that next 10 pounds, my next "mini goal" is <300 pounds by my 45th birthday on July 22nd! (70 pounds in 6 months)!!!
