Hi, would someone mind

Having a look at my food diary?

Im staying well within my calorie range and i dont want to be governed by certain foods at certain times as this is a lifestyle change rather than a diet for me but i would appreciate some pointers if i can improve on anything.

Please excuse the fact that little water consumption is added. I just simply havent updated water but everything else is 100% accurate.

I drink 2-3 ltrs of water per day.

Thank you in advance

So what is the question? Everything looks good. Two things stuck out to me: lack of sweets/treats and your continually changing calorie goals.

First, your calories. Have you worked out your BMR and TDEE and settled on the proper number of calories you should be eating? Going back I see at least five different calorie goals, so consistency would help you.

If you don't eat regular treats (whatever that would be for you) you may find that you lose motivation because you feel deprived.

Thanks for your reply. Yes i was conscious someone may raise this.

The few changes to begin with was firstly starting with my own guestimate which was obviously too low, then using MFP's which again after i thoroughly read hiitsdan's post on the 'road map' thread, i calculated my BF %, BMR and TDEE etc and this is why it is now at 1700 cals.

I have the occassional treat but im finding at the moment as im planning well for the following day, and eating at regular points throughout the day i dont crave anything as such. But if i fancied something, i wouldnt be affraid to have it and built it into my daily allowance.

I think i was more concerned about having sufficient protein, not too many carbs etc

Looks pretty good to me-- are you having issues or are you just wondering? It does seem a touch light on veggies, but I can sympathize since that's my weakness. :P

As for macros I'd go with 1 gram per pound of lean body mass on protein, .35 grams per pound of body weight for fat, and the rest carbs.

okay, I see. Yes, I would say up your protein to 1 g per lb of lean body mass. I personally try to get 45% protein, 35% carbs, 20% fats. More protein is always better, unless you have liver issues. :P

    Thank you

No issues was just wondering really if im honest. I know everyone eats differently and each to their own/what works for them etc, i just wanted a second opinion really to see if anything stuck out to more experienced people.
