I got a juicer over the weekend and have enjoyed juicing my veggies and some fruits. I am enjoying the taste and hopefully the health benefits. I am now doing some more research and getting conflicting information. Is anyone here a 'juicer' or have some tips on juicing and the benefits?

Thanks!

  • the only conflicts i hear is that smoothies give you more fiber instead of just juice. i just bought one too and i love it!! if joe cook from fat, sick and nearly dead could do it for 60 days, then i can do it to have some results. I already feel better after juicing for three days. now i will tell you i do have a small healthy dinner, not sure i can do it all juice all the time for 60 days...Lol!! i also cut out alcohol and mostly caffeiene. add me if you like!!

If you're just getting the juice you're drinking the sugar water from the food and throwing out the fiber that you need. You're taking in a lot of calories for very little food quantity. If you want to "juice" it's much better to have something that juices the entire food item like a smoothie.
