I have been craving french toast. I bought the 100 calorie sandwich thins and made the regular milk egg mixture with a little vanilla extract. I accounted for butter and I am not much of syrup person. Definatley good and I figured it at less than 250 calories, and I think I was pretty generous accounting for the cals. Just thought I would share.

We use the Sunbeam Light Wheat Bread (40 cals a slice I believe!) and go a little heavy on the cinnamon. Sooo good! And since I've found Brummel & Brown, it's even better! I'm glad you loved yours!! :flowerforyou:

It really is all about making the healthy decisions that you can sustain for a lifetime, isn't it?!
  • i use villiage hearth light wheat..the wheat i like actually (its nice and soft) also only has 40cals per slice. i never even thought of french toast!! i always thought of it as being too fatty...i'm so going to change up the recipe and try some!!

    thanks!
