Body Composition Test: Bod Pod or DXA?

A university near my town does DXA and Bod Pod scans for full body composition and with minimal cost. I really want to get a full reading done so I can have a better grasp of where I am, the calories I need to be eating to actually reach my goals, AND to see if my body comp scale is even close for future reference. My body is in major shift right now- losing a lot of inches and not lbs. It is time to reassess what I am doing, I think, to ensure I am training/eating correctly. A little more than half way there.

Has anyone had either procedure done?

I initially called for an appt in the Bod Pod, though the tech told me the DXA is the ultimate in accuracy. The price for each scan is basically the same. The one con of the DXA he told me- I have to take an on site pregnancy test to ensure not expecting. No biggie for me.

Anyone have experience/advice??

Thanks in advance for your help, all...
