Ok so question about calories on MFP. My daily goal is 1300 calories a day but when I enter my workouts that goes up to like 1600 but I am still eating only the 1300. It is telling me that I am not eating enough ... but if I eat the 1600 calories wouldn't that defeat the purpose of the workout??

NO. MFP already creates a deficit for you when it gives you your calorie goal. This means that even if you don't exercise, you will still lose weight.
When you exercise, you FURTHER increase the deficit that is ALREADY there.0 -
MFP already builds a deficit into your diet and stat goal. So if your goal is 1300 and you burn 300 and eat it back - you still have that original deficit going for you. Too little net calories and you will start to feel run down and wore out.0

Mine tells me that each day I'm not eating enough. I just ignore it because I am in line with my goal each day, or just slightly under.
It's based on general 'healthy weight loss' parameters; and they are right - you may not be getting enough essential nutrients. Make sure you've got supplements or something0
