Thoughts?

I'm wondering what your thoughts are on the following:
Do you think a person can live a truly healthy, active lifestyle in which they respect their body and themselves while using marijuana recreationally on a daily basis - sometimes multiple times a day - as well as drinking alcohol and smoking cigarettes more than sparingly?
It really irks me when people adopt a "better than thou" mindset because they decide to begin eating better and exercising, while continuing to live what I think of as a party lifestyle - which still includes high-octane crap for food.
There's honestly no judgement on my part, especially since I was once a consumer of all the aforementioned, plus more - and still indulge in a drink once in a while - but I kind of just want to tell some of the people I know to **** right off when they try to act like they're better than me because they party hard - like I'm lame for growing out of that phase in my life and taking my health seriously.
Has anyone else experienced this? I've alienated a lot of "friends," lost a relationship, and found myself pretty isolated since adopting a healthy and active lifestyle - mostly because I just don't have any interest in doing anything or ingesting anything that is not going to help me in feeling my absolute best.

I don't think it is a "better than though" attitude at all. When you are bettering yourself, why would you want to hang out with people who are destructive? Removing those friends are just a part of improving your life. It's hard, but I see it as going through your pantries and removing the Little Debbie snacks. You are doing the same thing with your friends who could potentially sabotage you. I think you are wise.0
