I couldnt wake up for 18 hours at a time. Needless to say I wasn't on it for very long0

Luicid dreaming, sleepiness, on higher doses excess energy and jitters.0

It was prescribed to me as a sleep aid when I was having mental health issues. I took it before bed and it still turned me into a zombie the next day. I'm not a huge fan of psychiatric meds, but that's an argument for another day.0

I take Seroquel and the only side-effect that I have, other than the obvious sleep are the munchies. Keep healthy food in your house and you should be fine. Good Luck0

Oh, god, Seroquel screwed me up. I was on it for a mental health drug for 5 years. It made me gain 120 lbs in 3 months time, even with me eating the same amount as before I was on it. I was constantly drowsy, slept until at least 11 am. I have permanent tremors in one of my hands (a mild case of tardiv disconesia, I know its spelled wrong). I would ask for anything but seroquel.0

I don't have a choice to ask for certain meds. I was put on it when I was in hospital and we had no choice of our drugs then.
To the person who said they don't agree with psychiatric meds.. I can tell you right now, I would not be here right now if it wasn't for certain meds clearing my mind.0 -
I am on Seroquel and I GAINED so much weight from it. it makes you wake up and eat even when your not hungry...still struggling on it.0

The most common effect you'll feel drowsiness and if it might cause changes to your t3/t4 levels but that's unlikely.0

I'm on 200 g of Seroquel, among other antidepressants, and these drugs tend to affect people differently. Some might get no side-effects, some might react badly. Personally it helps me to sleep, I don't really feel any drowsiness or difficulty waking up either.0
