My HRM (Polar FT60) says this is a recovery week. Do I take it? I'm afraid it will derail my training.

I've never heard of a recovery week. I wouldn't take one, but not sure why your hrm says to. A week is a long time in the scheme of things.

Yeah. Never heard of that before coming from a heart rate monitor?? However, recovery doesn't mean don't do anything at all, just do something less taxing. It's healthy to change things up and help the body recovery from the demands. I don't think it would derail your training at all.

If you are hitting really heave 5 or 6 times a week, that is sometimes a really good idea.

People on here are always talking about the zombie apocalypse. Obviously the HRM led robot revolution is a much more likely scenario.
