You could try some protein shakes with almond milk instead of dairy milk. Almoond milk is yummy and has no dairy.
  • I can relate to your lactose intolerant situation. Mine is not as bad as others but I still try to stay away anything dairy besides protein powder. A good lifestyle change to your current "eating" habits is a "slow" change. What I mean is start slow and basic. Perhaps substituting sides with veggies and not necessarily salads. It could be grilled veggies, fruits (not from cans) etc. Start slowly incorporating good foods; within time you will realize that you are eating healthier and closer to your goal.

Try new tastes like curry chicken salad, protein powder added to recipes like healthy muffins and breakfast bars, fruits you haven't tried before. Drink water not soda

Drink water or herbal tea instead of other things that are higher calorie or will bother your tum.

Have one or two servings of fruit a day.

Eat at least one new veggies every week until you've run out of things to try. Try cooking each a few different ways until you find some way you like them.

Don't cut out desserts or sweets, but cut your serving size in half.
