cooking & oil

I'm in the midst of making breakfast and I have a question. I'm making some hash browns (well, shredded potatoes). I measured out the potatoes and the oil and cooked them. And when I was done, I put them on a paper towel to get any extra oil off. I logged it as the amount oil that I measured, but with what's left in the pan and what I blotted off, I'm sure I didn't actually eat that much. Would you just leave it as is in your diary and figure that it all evens out in the end? Or adjust it down a little? I know it's not a huge calorie difference, but I'm really working to hold myself accountable (and I'm fascinated by this whole macro thing, and I've been looking at that a lot lately too). THANKS!

I would count the whole amount. I would rather err on the side of more calories than less.0
