I feel like I am constantly sick. It's so annoying! Tihs has been going on for almost a year. Ever since I had my son. Lately I've been exhausted. When I get home from work, I quickly do my homework and eat dinner and go to sleep. I feel miserable! And my fiance is so mad because I have no sex drive any more. Could this be my diet or something else? I have a doctor appointment next week but just wanted to see what others thought. Thanks!

I think a lot of people feel like that after having a baby. I know I definitely did after I had my kids. Even long after they were sleeping through the night, I still felt exhausted. I also got sick a lot -- especially after my 2nd was born. He was a thumb sucker and thus, always putting germs in his mouth and getting some cold or another.
It's easier said than done, but try to get to bed early most nights so that you get enough rest. Try to carve out some adult time for just you and your fiance at least once a week. And if you're going to visit your doctor anyhow, you might ask to have your thyroid, vitamin D and vitamin B12 levels checked -- if any of those are off, they can affect your energy levels and sex drive. Oh, and keep a bottle of hand sanitizer in your bag.
Hang in there. It gets better.0 -
I can totally relate...and I'm happy for you that you have a doctor's appointment scheduled. I was feeling that way and went for blood work to find out I'm diabetic and my vitamin D and B levels were fairly low...I started feeling better within 2 days of taking mulitivitamins and a fish oil supplement. I switched to a gummy vitamin because the regular multi made me nausious (and be sure to buy the enteric coated fish oil if you start taking them -- the coating makes it so you arent tasting fishyness).. Hope you feel better soon and have a good visit with your doctor!0

I had the same issue. My energy level was almost non existent. I had zero motivation to do anything, come home and just want to veg. My doctor gave me a blood test which showed low Vitamin D. It will take about 6 months to bring me up to the level I need to be, but after the first month I noticed a big difference. Hope this helps.0
