How to Record DVD's

I was wondering how others are recording their exercise for DVD's. Say you have a total running DVD time of 48 min. But it has a 5 min warm up (or however long) and a 5 min cool down. Do you log your entire 48 minutes or break it down into something like 38 min high impact and 10 min low impact?

I break it down. Usually I'll record 40-45 minutes of high-impact, and then 10 minutes of stretching or something lighter.0

I've only logged a few of the P90X dvds so far and I just log them as a whole. If you always do the warm up and cool down, is there a need to log them separately (since it's for your own records)? But in the end, it'll be personal preference.0
