    you don't HAVE to with either, but i tend to put the ketchup in the fridge. not the syrup though.

    Yes for ketchup. the package says to. No for syrup. I use the real maple stuff and can't get the lid off if I do.

    yes....but then again, I don't spread my peanut butter on toast since I don't eat toast but I DO eat a lot of peanut butter on a spoon...so cold peanut butter rocks.

    I didn't know people refrigerated syrup... but yes, I refrigerate my ketchup. I use to not, but it started turning a brownish color which grossed me out, so now I prefer it cold
