Ok everyone I need some advice I am 2 wks in to working out and trying to get 3 days in a wk. I have done nothing but cardio to just get my body adjusted to working out. When should I add some strengthening to my workouts. Any and all suggestions on what I should do are appreciated.

I'm not an exercise expert, but I think you could start adding some strength in whenever you feel comfortable! Maybe warm up with some cardio, and then do some strength exercises. Start off small or do beginner videos. There are some great workout videos online too that use just 5-10 lb. weights or are just 10-minutes long.0

You can add some moderate weights to begin and work yourself up to heavier weights. Close to 10 years ago when I first began working out after gaining some weight from my college days, I saw better and longer lasting results, just by doing 30 mins of weight training 3-5x week. I never lifted prior and was only doing cardio exercises, and didn't really see long lasting changing.0
