I was wondering if anyone else here gives themselves b12 shots? my doctor showed me how to do them in my thigh (I need b12 for health reasons). Anyways I gave myself a shot over a week ago and the injection spot is numb/slight burning sensation and when I push down, it almost feels like I can feel the muscle. I probably hit a nerve ending perhaps and I have felt numbness before in my arm when a nurse gave me a shot but was wondering if this has happened to anyone else and what they did?

you hit a nerve most likely. it will go away on it's own. Just make sure it isnt an abscess, those will be red, swollen, growing and extremely painful - if it is, you absolutely must see a doctor. but if it's a hard lump and slightly burning it's just from you hitting a nerve with the needle...not a big deal at all.0
