dont eat below bmr?

I see posts to eat below tdee but not to eat below you bmr so why does MFP have so many of us set at eating 1200 calories daily?

    Because it doesn't take into account your BMR, just the rate you have put to lose. If your rate puts you below your BMR, then slow your rate and/or increase your daily activity. That's a simplistic, probably overly simplistic way to say it, but there you go.
