flexi - bar is it strength training

Hi
can any body tell me if the flexi bar and the disc you stand on and swivel left right can they be classed as some sort of strength training I do sit up squats etc (I dont have access to a gym we live miles away and with young kids very difficult)

i'd think the swivel thing is more cardio from how it sounds. i list the sit ups and squats as weight training, cos squatting my body weight friggin hurts!0
