Is not really a waist more like a indention at belly button between muffin land and my dunlap. But my dunlap loses inches with my " waist

Excuse my ignorance but what is a dunlap?

What in the world were you searching for to dig this up? :open_mouth:

What is up with these necro threads today?!!

And I was always under the impression that a butt shelf was a good thing. Like a nice round butt, rounded before it its the back of the leg/hamstring, instead of just flat.

When did Kim K become stupidly popular? I do my best to ignore her ilk and the trash that is "reality TV."

What did my post have to do with Kim K? I personally like a round butt. Not necessarily hers.

I was just pointing out that the ideas of what is considered aesthetically pleasing (as portrayed in the media, not specifically what is appealing to the individual) have been changing. There's nothing wrong with a shapely backside. It's just interesting to see a post where someone is looking to reduce the shape, compared to all the ones looking to increase shape lately. Obviously, my previous post didn't convey my full meaning.

i disagree with not being able to know your body shape until you've lost the weight. your body shape is genetic, it's not like an apple is going to be a pear when overweight, you'd just be a larger size apple...
I seen an apple pear in the store one day it was shape like apple but taste like a pear. Lol I dnt know why I thought about that I was about to say something meaningfull.

I thought you were starting to describe a person that you seen at a store, until I read the next part of your sentence, lol

Dunlap: Your belly done lapped over your belt. Mine is more like, it lapped over my hysterectomy scar. lol. I don't get the butt shelf per se but one of the first places I gain fat is in the small of my back right over my butt. The fat piles up there and makes me look SO thick. I'm working on losing that back off. I gained some during a period of time when I was moving and dealing with a lot of car repairs and stuff, and could not get to the gym. Now I'm working out again and have about 10 lbs to remove once more.

The thing is, I had a shelf butt even when I weighed 160 pounds. It's our bone structure.

What? It's not your bone structure - you don't have bones in your butt fat! This sounds like another justification excuse.....
