Title Edit : Hypertrophy or strength for fat loss?

I have been diligently mixing up lifting, cardio and calorie counting to lose weight. I've had some good results, as you can see from my ticker.

But such is life, the more I learn, the more questions arise. Question of the day is - if my goal is to lose fat and minimize loss of lean body mass should I be training for muscle strength, endurance or growth? Or to put it another way, high weight and low reps, or low weight and high reps?

Both strength and bulk are secondary concerns to me at the moment. Right now, all I want is to shift this fat, so I will lift in whichever manner maximizes my ability to do that.

    Both.

As mixture of rep ranges and weights tends to produce the best results, whether your goals are strenght or hypertrophy.

I should add that I'm presuming that even if I train for hypertrophy, I probably won't get it, since I'm eating at a calorie deficit to lose the fat. But I'm happy to train in that way to protect what lean mass I have, if that makes any sense?
